PERSONAL TRAINING AGREEMENT, POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

Congratulations on beginning your personal training program! Thank you for choosing Stronger Fitness as part of your commitment to health and fitness. As your personal trainer, I will help you improve your ability to accomplish your training goals faster, safer, and with maximum benefits. The training methods, exercises and instruction for each training session can be used for a lifetime. To optimize your progress and results, it is important to follow program during both supervised and unsupervised training days. Exercise and nutrition are EQUALLY important. I am excited to be a part of your journey. Remember, improving our health and fitness is a process that requires commitment, consistency and patience.

Please read the following information. In consideration of the mutual promises exchanged in this agreement and for other valuable consideration, the parties agree as follows:

1. CLIENT COMMITMENT: By purchasing training sessions, client is making a commitment to his/her health. Client should follow the program and instructions of their Trainer, Stronger Fitness Staff (“Trainer”), to the best of his/her ability to maximize results and better achieve his/her goals. Remember, ultimate results are up to the client. Trainer will show client how to work his/her muscles correctly and with good form, and encourage him/her to go to his/her safe limit and fitness level, but it is client’s responsibility to: work out consistently, eat properly, get plenty of sleep, and lead a healthy lifestyle. Trainer will offer direction and guidance in these areas as well.

2. STOPPING EXERCISES: Client may refuse or stop any exercise for any reason. It is client’s responsibility to notify trainer of any discomfort or pain arising from or during exercise, as well as any and all other known limitations client has or experiences, so that trainer may accommodate client and substitute another exercise to work that particular muscle group.

3. SESSION SPECIFICS: Trainer and client will agree upon the time, frequency, program type, content and location of personal training sessions at the rate set forth on the Stronger Fitness Price List.

4. LENGTH OF TRAINING SESSIONS: Sessions can be purchased for one half (1/2) hour or one (1) hour. Trainer may opt to vary the length of sessions at their discretion.

5. EXPIRATION OF TRAINING SESSIONS: All individual sessions will expire six (6) months from date of purchase. Weekly bundles will expire seven (7) days from the date of purchase. Whereas multi-service packages will expire four (4) months from the date of purchase. Sessions/training/services are void and non-refundable after this date.

6. PAYMENT: Client acknowledges and agrees that payment must be made in advance of sessions. Sessions may be purchased at the single session rate or at the discounted multi-session or package rates. Sessions may be purchased at MCCS fitness facilities or online at www.strongerfitness1111.com.

7. PUNCTUALITY: Showing up late or failing to be prepared to train will result in a shortened workout, possible cancellation and forfeiture of the training session. If the client anticipates running late, he/she should contact Trainer as soon as possible.

            7a. NO SHOW POLICY: If a client fails to show for a scheduled session and HAS NOT canceled at least 12 hours prior to the session start time (see section 8 for more details), the client will be billed for 50% of their scheduled session. Arriving more than 30 minutes late for a scheduled one-hour session or 15 minutes late to a scheduled 30-minute session the session will be considered a No-Show. Repeated No-Shows will result in termination of service. A credit card will be required to be kept on file. No-Show appointments will not be refunded for any reason.

8. CANCELLATION POLICY OF INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS: Client must notify trainer of cancelation via phone call, text or email 12 hours in advance of the scheduled training session in order to avoid being charged for the training session. However, Stronger Fitness and Trainer understand that emergencies happen. Therefore, every client receives one free short-notice cancellation. You will not be charged for your first cancellation with less than 12 hours’ notice. The free short-notice cancellation only applies if client notifies trainer prior to the session start time. If a Trainer must cancel a session, they will do so by phone, text, or email, with at least 12 hours’ notice or client will receive a complimentary session. This complimentary session must be used within 30 days of the date of the cancelled session.

9. CANCELLATION OF SERVICES/REFUND POLICY: Client may cancel their services within 2 business day after purchase for any reason. A refund via cashiers check of any money paid for services not yet received will be mailed to the address on file. Notice of cancellation must be made in writing and delivered to Trainer via email at strongbody.strongmind@strongerfitness1111.com. All services are non-refundable if notice of cancellation is delivered anytime after 2 business days following the date of purchase.

10. COVID CLAUSE: All clients are to fill out a mandatory health screening prior to any in-person services. Additionally, client agrees to adhere to any and all health and safety regulations set forth by the Installation, MCCS, or Stronger Fitness. All sessions and services purchased prior to any state or federally mandated shutdowns are non-refundable. Sessions/services will be placed on hold until the fitness facilities on the Installation have been re-opened to authorized patrons. In-person session balances may be converted to virtual sessions/services during the shutdown with written requests being sent to strongbody.strongmind@strongerfitness1111.com.
