Fit for the Aging

Stronger Fitness has partnered with the Crawford County Commission on Aging to offer a safe, progressive fitness class on Friday’s at 10:45. This class is specifically designed for those 55 and older - focusing on maintaining safe fitness activities as we age: proper form, increasing strength, flexibility, range of motion, balance, mobility, gait, and more! Seated and standing variations for every workout. Class is free, donations are always welcome! Equipment is optional (dumbbells, resistance bands, stability balls, suspension training straps).

MURPH 2024

Join us in honoring our fallen with a true MURPH, Monday May 27th at 0900. This donation based workout will begin with a mile run/walk, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 squats, and end with a final mile run/walk. True die-hards may wear their flack/40lb pack.

100% of all donations will be given to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Virtual and modified options are available:

MODIFIED: 1/2 mile walk, 50 Push Ups, 100 Squats, 150 Jumping Jacks, 1/2 mile walk

We will also have bands and boxes available for use.

VIRTUAL: The event will be live streamed on our Facebook page, however, our Trainers will also be available to coach you through on out group Zoom meeting. Be sure to select virtual participation at registration so we can send you the link!

New to the gym? Not sure if your form is correct? Constantly injuring yourself from over-doing your workouts?

Our 6 week mini course starts January 2nd and will run through mid February. This private, small group setting will cover:

* safe lifting mechanics (your form)

* proper spotting techniques

* weight + intensity progression

* modifications for existing limitations

* fitness programming

* increase your confidence in the gym

* become part of the gym community


Each week we will cover a different muscle group/body section. Open to all ages and abilities. $60 for 6 weeks of private instruction. Must be a FitNorth member. Multiple classes per week - 4pm and 7am. Limited to 5 members in each session.

Turkey Burn

All eyes are on the Thanksgiving dinner prize (the potatoes! The cranberry sauce! The slice after slice of pie!) It is your abdomen’s most favorite and least favorite holiday! But before you dive into a bottomless pile of stuffing that you might decide to live in, do some good for yourself AND for other people with this pre-Thanksgiving Day event. You’ll get a workout and help collect funds +food for good causes.


The workout is open to all levels and abilities .Each class is 25-30 minutes long. Non-perishable food donations will be collected the day of the event for the Community Foundation of Crawford County.


We will potluck healthy snacks and drinks to nibble on between each class. Stay for one or try them all as we celebrate friends and show our gratitude for another year of health and wellness.

Bring in an unwrapped toy and you will receive one FREE group exercise class! Together we can ensure all children in our area continue to enjoy the magic of the holiday season
